We believe that in order to see true restoration in our communities, cities and nations, it will take a new kind of leadership – a leadership that reflects the original story of creation. It was the Grand Architect of life (God) who was the first to labour, and through His labour He provided a blueprint of what our labour should look like.
It was not a burdensome labour of overwhelm and exhaustion. It was a purpose-filled labour that brought order from chaos and beauty from brokenness, for the benefit of others. The NGL is a well-crafted tool to support leaders on this journey of discovering how to labour in a purpose-filled way.
The NGL Journey aims to create an environment where purpose-filled business discipleship can occur, and where leaders can begin to see a change in their personal, team, and organisational leadership. At its essence, the NGL Journey helps leaders answer the question, “What does the better version of your life and leadership look like?”
The NGL is structured to serve high-potential leaders who are either leading their own organisations, in senior management positions within teams, or who have started (or are looking to start) their own entrepreneurial venture.
Note: There is also a separate NGL Young Professional Journey that is aimed specifically at young people who are finishing their studies or who are beginning their careers.

The NGL is structured as a potential two-part journey, with the option of a Year 1 and Year 2 curriculum. Each year’s curriculum consists of an eight-month journey that includes eight monthly 3-hour facilitated sessions hosted by two NGL Facilitators. Each NGL cohort will include a maximum of 15 leaders. In addition to prioritising the monthly facilitated session, the participating leaders must also commit to a monthly 1-on-1 peer connect time between each module to keep one another on track with the actions that flow from each session.
While most business leaders want to jump into the doing component of a business strategy, the NGL Journey is designed to help leaders answer four vital questions. Without the answers to these questions, leaders cannot make effective decisions to arrive at a specified destination (whether in their personal lives, teams, or organisations as a whole).
Once NGL Year 1 is completed, leaders have the option of continuing their journey with the Year 2 curriculum. NGL Year 1 guided leaders through the four questions that required attention to develop a compelling strategy and equipped them with personal leadership skills to order their private world. Having clarified their strategic plan, NGL Year 2 now considers how leaders can activate the people in their teams and organisations to actually achieve the strategy.
